Coronado by La Flor Dominicana was launched in 2006 and sports a hearty, Nicaraguan sun grown wrapper. This leathery, slightly oily leaf conceals a blend of Dominican Sumatra and Piloto Cubano tobaccos supported by a Dominican grown Corojo binder. This incredible mix creates a complexity that emits flavors ranging from earth, coffee, and leathery nuances to spicy hints of pepper, which evolve into a long and pleasant finish. Coronado is the first line of cigars ever produced by La Flor Dominicana and was acknowledged by Cigar Aficionado as the number two cigar of the year in 2006.
